Phi Delta Epsilon, the medical fraternity, held the annual Gelfand Lecture on Thursday, April 12th. Every year, this speech is given by a doctor, as he talks about his journey through a career in medicine. This includes the struggles he has faced, and the practice or specialty that he specifically does. This year, Dr. David Carrier was the Gelfand Lecturer, and he spoke about his experience in becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon at Rochester General Hospital.
