"Every February our close group of Geneseo friends gather in upstate New York to reconnect. Our original group of 13 has expanded over the years to include spouses and children. We are truly a family and joke that our children will attend Geneseo together. We have expanded our get-togethers to include a summer gathering. We have celebrated weddings, promotions, first homes, births and adoptions together. We have been there for each other during the hardest days of our lives. Many things have changed in our lives over 15 years, but our friendships have remained constant. We are forever grateful to Geneseo for bringing us together. — Eileen Kelly Gorman '03 Pictured are: Chris Norman '04, Mike Shaughnessy '04, Becky Williams Theiss '03, Julie Meidenbauer Fooks '04, Eric Fooks '03, Pushpinder Jassal ‘03, Bryan Midlam '04, Beth Stewart '03, Lauren Harvilla Peltier '03, Jeff Vito '03, Eileen Kelly Gorman '03, Matt Gorman '03 and Dan Gill '03.
Class of 1985 best friends
Geneseo Class of 1985 graduates Dawn Wiltsie DiGiovacchino, Sue Quinto and Janice Brown Bagnato have visited Geneseo several times together. "it always feels like coming home," says Quinto. "These two girls will forever and always be my very best friends. In the 33 years since graduation, we’ve only grown closer as we’ve navigated through life’s ups and downs. I’m so thankful that Geneseo blessed me with these two amazing women who I know will be by my side for the rest of my life!"

"From 1995 to 1997, the seven of us lived in the two apartments at 25 South Street, and one of the women's dad even figured out how to connect the two apartments through a closet in the house. We used to keep a curtain covering the opening so that our landlord didn't know we took down the wall! Here is a picture of us from a graduation party we threw at the house in 1993, in the same spot as the women in the picture in the Scene that featured the story about old friends, newly reunited (forgive us the fashion, it was the 90s!). We still keep in touch and try to get together when we can. It's been 25 years of friendship, weddings, kids and reunions that started in Niagara Hall where we all lived freshman and sophomore year before we moved to South St. It was great to see the place is still being used by Geneseo students all these years later! — Michele Grab '97
Sparcino and friends reunited, 2016
Jennifer Sparcino '84 and her AGO sisters see each other often after their graduation more than 30 years ago. "These women mean the world to me. They are my anchors. We have shared the very best and the very worst that life has to give and through it all we have been there to share it and lean on each other," Sparcino says." We may not see each other as much as we wish, but spending our weekends together each year is our time to laugh and relax and remember.
County College of Morris
Debbie Schook Poetsch '94 and Kelly Newberry Fitzpatrick '97 were mathematics majors at Geneseo and were delighted to meet each other for the first time while working together at the County College of Morris in Randolph, N.J., where they are both assistant professors in the Mathematics Department.

Class of 1991 friends
"This story reminds me of our crew. Thirty years later, we are all still friends, and of course, our Geneseo "family" has grown immensely with spouses and kids. Every year, we pick a date and place and whoever can come, comes. We visit and laugh and have a blast. This year everyone made it except Steve Weppner. I love these people and am so grateful Geneseo brought us together. I can count on them for anything at any time." Submitted by Christine Lisi Popolizio '91.
