Egypt forum
Ellizabeth Barber '12, who was recently forced to leave Egypt when her study abroad program in Cairo was canceled due to the uprising and unstable political environment, recounts her experience during the Department of Political Science and International Relations' forum Feb. 9 that focused on the political situation in Egypt.

Congo grassroots
Justine Cheapé speaks at a Feb. 9 meeting of the Invisible Children student organization, in which she detailed her experiences as a grassroots organizer with Falling Whistles. Falling Whistles is a campaign for peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She also talked about a winter-break backpacking trip through Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and the Congo, which resulted in a cross-country bike tour that four Geneseo students will undertake this summer to promote free and fair elections in this November's presidential elections in the Congo. /PHOTO BY SARAH KOSLOSKI '12

A fan roots on the men's hockey team on Feb. 26, as they played the 1000th game in the history of the hockey program. It was a SUNYAC playoff final versus Plattsburgh. Despite the exhortation of the Geneseo faithful, the Ice Knights lost in overtime, finishing their season at 16-8-2.
