    Ariane Baer MS’08, and a former visiting French lecturer at Geneseo, spent six years in Senegal, Africa at an international school in Dakar, as an English and philosophy teacher and vice principal. She returned to visit friends, the country she loves and to see her one-time seventh-graders graduate in July, and took her Scene with her. She also visited the Slave House, which remembers the Senegalese who were taken from their homeland.
