A Chamber Music Festival in the MacVittie College Union's Fireside Lounge featuring various student music groups was part of the GREAT Day program. The Geneseo String Band moved its performance out on the second floor balcony overlooking the Union lobby for the benefit of those enjoying the Buffet Luncheon below. The band is made up of student musicians Tom Robinson, Rachel McGee, Chris Keegan, Kristen Hadley, Charles Turner, Stephen Kowalewski, Lily Wheeler, Sally Schaefer and Maeghan Dineen. Bob Jackson, a musician and entertainer at Walt Disney World for more than 14 years presents "Yehaa Bob's Wild Show" on April 11. The performance benefited the Give Kids the World organization. LIVE Magazine rollout party
Anna Vacarro '11, a business administration major and graphic production and communication minor, celebrates the launch of this semester's LIVE magazine on April 8. Vacarro worked as a graphic designer on the magazine, which is a 48-page, student-run booklet that showcases the Geneseo Valley region.
Relay For Life 2011
Students walked over 12 hours in the Kuhl Gym on April 16 and 17 in the annual Relay For Life fundraiser to raise money for the American Cancer Society. They also held a special lap in which they walked in silence to remember those who have passed away from cancer, with surviving family and friends holding light sticks. /PHOTO BY SARAH KOSLOSKI '12
